I, Shiva, started an Internet Marketing company Abhav (pronounced as ab – how) and the meaning of Abhav is – “something that you cannot define”. Abhav also means Shiva (Destroyer of Bad things) – you would have heard George Clooney stating in the movie, Michael Clayton, “I am Shiva, God of Death”

Coming to the story, apart from the company domain – I have around 600 domain names, most of them I used for my research work for more than past 2 years and I always wanted to get a cool domain related with SEO and tried to get SEO.ASIA and SEO.ME, and lost both of them in auction. SEO.ASIA was bought for $18,500 and then SEO.ME went for $8225.

SEO.ASIA auction screen shot:

For SEO.Asia around 209 bidders participated in the auction list

SEO.ME auction screen shot:

For SEO.me – I could not verify it again but remember somewhere between 40-50 people participated.

And checked some auction sites and then for some available seo.International domains. SEO.Info, SEO.Mobi are both for sale and you can check the appraisal for SEO.Mobi below:
SEO.Mobi appraisal link – $40000 and hope most of you remember the rumor that SEO.com was sold for $5 million.

I bought couple of years back a domain PageRank 0, and though the Green bar PageRank might look like nothing much compare to search results – the PageRank (based on various classifiers and signals) determines the search rank as well. And with current trend on SEO Public Relations and all time favorite of Press Releases – I thought a .PR (Puerto Rico) domain name will be good and best suit an SEO and as it was available – I did not think twice to purchase the domain – You can purchase a .PR domain name at https://www.nic.pr/index.asp?f=1 I have to tell you that a .PR domain registration and renewal costs $1020 a year including taxes. SEO.PR is not associated with seo-pr.com

Update on Aug 31, 2009: Abhav recently purchased SEO.MD domain, .MD is cctld for Moldova – for partnership send your mail to contact@abhav.com
